| This Is My Democracy |
What You Can Do | Stolen Election, The Evidence |
This is My Democracy,
and I WILL have it back!
(A modest proposal to restore democracy to America.)
My name is Greg Black. I am a statistical analyst by training and trade. I have 25 years of experience analyzing complex statistical data. It is my considered, responsible, and researched position as a scientist and a statistician that:
1. The evidence I have collected proves, beyond the shadow of a reasonable doubt, that massive amounts of outright voter fraud occurred and that the results of the 2004 presidential election of the United States of America were manipulated.
2. The presidential vote has been systematically altered by vote swapping software and manipulation of vote totals to install G. W. Bush as the President of the United States, against the wishes of the voting citizens.
Below and on the next page of this political section I have collected an incredible amount of documentation to prove that the election held on November 2, 2004 to determine the President of the United States of America was stolen.
If we don’t defend democracy NOW, we won't have to bother to defend it next election because it will already be too late.
I propose that there be demonstrations in every city and state on July 4th, and October 4th of 2005, and January 4th, April 4th, and July 4th of 2006. We will call these the “July 4 th” protests.
The purpose of these "July 4th protests" will be to raise awareness of the stolen election of 2004 and, more importantly, to build a citizen's movement to restore democracy to America again.
There will be a protest in Austin, Texas on July 4 th, 2005 at 5:00 p.m. on the South Steps of the Capitol.
Protest: If you are in a state capital, hold your protest on the capital grounds. If not, utilize the city hall or county courthouse.
We want free and fair elections in the United States of America that meet AND exceed the international standards that we require of any third world country.
The Carter Center, which has overseen over 50 elections in other countries, maintains that our elections do not meet even minimal international standards. To have a free and fair election, we must ensure first and foremost that we meet the international standards.
We need, however, to go further than just meeting the minimum standards. We must insist that the United States of America become the gold standard of verifiable and auditable voting for the entire world to envy!
We must demand:
That’s right, 40% of the nation’s congressional districts have only one of the two major parties running for office. I live in district 10 in Texas, where the republicans carved up liberal Austin, to make sure we didn’t elect a nasty liberal like Lloyd Doggett to congress again. My district runs from north Austin to the northern, heavily republican, suburbs of Houston, and no Democrat filed to run in district 10. When I complained about being disenfranchised to a republican co-worker, she said “you can vote for whomever you want!” (By the way, Lloyd Doggett was reelected anyway, in spite of those partisan efforts, in another district that was carved up so much that it runs from south east Austin, through and including parts of 13 counties along its long path to the border of Mexico.)
We must ban outright, all "black box," paperless, un-auditable voting machines with software that is proprietary, un-certifiable, and with a proven track record to be both easily hacked and downright crooked. This includes first and foremost the machines from Diebold and E.S.S. that were used to steal the election in 2004. We must also ban all similar machines.
Hear is how it would work: The voting machines would have not one but two paper trails. The two paper trails would be connected by a unique bar code that is the same on each.
After the voter casts the vote, they would get both copies signed on the back by the voting site administrators. One copy would go home with the citizen, and one would stay at the voting center to be counted.
All votes must be escorted securely to the counting place and then counted in public, with free admission to anybody who wishes to witness the counting of the votes.
After the votes are counted and posted, machines would be available so that anyone who wanted to scan their paper ballot could verify that their individual vote was counted the way that they cast it.
What are the chances of the Republican controlled Congress actually reforming the election system? NONE! Just look at what happened with the Help Americans Vote Act (HAVA). This act was supposed to clean up the election problems that we had in 2004, and it only made things worse by allowing voting machines with no paper trail and no way to audit results. The Republicans in Congress blocked efforts to require paper trails on voting machines, and after the 2004 presidential election, we know why.
We saw what happened when these machines and other nefarious doings stole the vote for George Bush in 2004.
We need to ensure that the 2006 election isn’t stolen, and we, as citizens, can do that. Here is what is absolutely, positively, the one way we can do it WITHOUT HELP FROM CONGRESS OR THE MEDIA:
This consortium would be financed entirely by citizens, and responsible only to the truth. The consortium would have to be supported by an extremely large number of citizen activists who would collect the data.
If this is just a sampling of precincts, then the Republican machinery can simply shave the votes from some other precinct. This must be done in as close to 100% of the precincts as we can get.
There is a reason why the media consortium that paid for the exit polling in 2004 will not release their raw exit poll data to the public. Every interested scientist and statistician would immediately compare the exit poll results to the reported vote totals, and we would have solid proof that the election was stolen, where it was stolen, and by how much it was stolen. That’s not all. We would have firm proof that the corporate media was complicit in covering up the stolen election of 2004. They have statisticians on their staff, and they have got to know the election was stolen.
Why is it that the corporate media found it far more interesting to report the exit poll discrepancies and stolen election in Ukraine than the exact same thing happening in America? When the stolen election of 2004 was covered at all in the media, it was framed as a bunch of conspiracy nuts blogging on the internet.
We get more proof every day that the corporate media is nothing but a propaganda machine for the government. Note the Downing Street memos that offer further proof that President G. W. Bush had been determined to go to war long before he told Congress, the United Nations, or the American people. Only after the bloggers on the internet kept the story circulating ever more widely did the corporate media bother to cover it at all.
Why is it that the New York Times did not publish the story about Bush wearing a wire during the presidential debates. FAIR (Fairness and Accuracy in Reporting) published an account from the NASA scientist that did the photo analysis of the bulge on Bush’s back. He was talking to NY Times reporters right up until 3 or 4 days before the election, when the reporters told him the editors had killed the story. When pressed for answers to why they had done so, the “liberal” New York Times at first denied that they had worked on the story. When the reporters themselves went on record saying they had a story in the can, the excuse that the New York Times offered was, get ready, this:
“We did not want to influence the election by publishing the story just before November 2nd.”
That’s right. They did not want to influence the election. Is it not the role, nay, the duty of the press to report the news so that the citizen can make up his/her own mind? Apparently, the New York Times thinks that it is not their duty to report all the news.
But I digress.
We need to build a citizen’s movement to restore democracy in America. I am not talking long term here; I am talking before the next election in 2006.
To conduct an independent exit poll operation in 2006 will take hundreds of thousands of citizen activists and millions of dollars. I don’t happen to have that on me right now.
At the protests, we must build a coalition of concerned citizens that will be dedicated to making sure that the elections of 2006 are not stolen. This coalition must include everybody: Greens, Democrats, Independents, Libertarians, Republicans, and citizens of any and every other persuasion.
This must be done!
If we fail to fight for what has been best about America, we can no longer call ourselves patriots.
I know what the republican leaders and their lackeys in the press will say: It is too expensive, and can't be done in time. It will cost billions, and is not necessary.
I counter each of these, in order:
Cost: nothing is more precious than our democracy, and we must pay any price to defend and preserve it!
Time: There is a year and half until the next election. Time is not an issue for a truly dedicated American public.
Not necessary: Well, below you will see my overwhelmingly convincing evidence that democracy has already been stolen. We must take it back.
Well, guess what republican leaders? More and more people find out about you stealing the 2004 election every day. When this idea of the gold standard of elections gets takes hold, you will have a choice:
And guess what? I'll bet the rank and file republicans will turn you out of office in droves if you come out against this. Every single regular Joe Blow or Jane Doe republican that I have talked with about this issue was willing to sign all petitions for free and fair elections. This made me very proud to be an American that republicans who could not believe what I had to say, still were willing to sign any petition for free and fair elections I could find.
It was only the most devious and corrupt of the partisan republican leaders and their media underlings that agreed with and actually participated in the fraud that they have inflicted upon Democracy.
Stand against us, and you stand against Democracy in America, including all the regular Joe and Jane republicans! Go ahead, make your choice!
If the media had reported the 2004 voter fraud, we would already be in the streets. I believe that Americans (regular Joes, democrats, independents, greens, libertarians, AND republicans) value fairness, honesty, and democracy over all.
This is not just my democracy, but yours, and yours, and yours too.
To quote what may be my favorite words ever:
"It is rather for us to be here dedicated to the great task remaining before us -- that from these honored dead we take increased devotion to that cause for which they here gave the last full measure of devotion -- that we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain; that this nation shall have a new birth of freedom; and that this government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth."
These are the words of Honest Abe Lincoln at his Gettysburg Address.
I give ANYBODY permission to reprint or reuse this information, post it to another site, etc. as long as long as you do not change any of my writing. In fact, post this everywhere you can find that will take it. That’s how the word got out last time. And the word MUST get out, AND SOON!
